This endowment was established by Joe and Janice Brumit. It is awarded to students enrolled in the Hospitality Management program. Joe and Janice are long-time friends of the College. Mr. Brumit is president of the Brumit Development Company. He is also past Board Chair of A-B Tech College Foundation Board of Directors and is currently the Chair of the A-B Tech Board of Trustees. Mrs. Brumit is also a dedicated civic leader. Her service to the community includes serving as Chair of the UNC-Asheville Board of Trustees. She also continues to work tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of children.
The scholarship application process for Foundation scholarships begins January – April.
