After completing IHCC and gathering admission documents, students can move forward with the enrollment process.

Students will be required to provide:

  • Government-issued photo ID
  • Social Security card
  • 18 years old
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (if applicable)
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of clinical training
  • Immunization and health records
    • Td/Tdap (Tetanus booster required every 10 years)
    • MMR (2 shots in series) or serologic confirmation of immunity
    • Hepatitis B (3 shots in series) or serologic confirmation of immunity
    • TB Test within the past 12 months (expires yearly)
    • PPD skin test or Blood test (Quantiferon Gold or T-spot)
    • If either test is positive for TB, you must provide both:
    • A clear chest x-ray
    • Physician clearance documentation following the last positive results
    • Varicella (2 shots in series) or serologic confirmation of immunity
    • COVID-19 (2 doses of primary series or the new 1 dose)
    • Influenza (annual in October)
  • Physician's Assessment (A-B Tech Form)
  • Criminal background check
  • Drug screening
  • Clinical onboarding documentation

Requirements may vary based on clinical facility requirements. Do not purchase any onboarding website package (example: Castle Branch, Rotation Manager, ViewPoint, WolfeOne package) before you bring documents to the Health Occupations department, along with payment or a letter from the sponsor, until you are informed to do so using a clinic site-specific package code from the Coordinator/Lead Instructor, Monique Worley. You will then be registered in the class.

Additional clinical requirements may apply. You can pick up an admission packet at the Health Occupations Office in AHWD, in room 308.
