Western Women’s Business Conference June 20 at A-B Tech




A-B Tech’s Small Business Center and the Carolina Small Business Development Fund are partnering to present the 5th annual Western Women's Business Conference from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the A-B Tech Conference Center on the Asheville campus.

The event brings together women entrepreneurs, business experts, nationally-renowned speakers, and artists for a full day of inspiration, learning and networking. All with the goal of building a diverse, sustainable, and innovation entrepreneurial community in Western North Carolina.

Small business owners, entrepreneurs, and community organizations would benefit from the conference, which will feature a music performance by Kat Williams and The Wild Bodema, business workshops, salsa dance break, distinguished speakers and networking. The opening keynote address will be by Jessica Chilton, an expressive arts therapist with business training and entrepreneurial experience. Darlene Strickland, senior minister at Unity of the Blue Ridge will deliver the lunch keynote.
