Nature’s Notebook on Display

Artwork created by students in Peter Loewer’s Natures Notebook II class will be on display through May 3 in the lower Locke Library. The class focuses on looking into natural work using pencils, pen and ink, and watercolor.

Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon

A Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon will be conducted by Adjunct Political Science Instructor Kasey Baker and his POL 120 students from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. April 19 in Haynes 118. All A-B Tech faculty and staff and community members are welcome to attend. This is a Wikipedia sanctioned event with financial support from the Wikipedia Foundation. Find Your Future College and Career Open House

A-B Tech’s annual Find Your Future College and Career Fair will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 4 in the Mission Health/A-B Tech Conference Center.

Sunnicrest Dedication

Employees are invited to attend a dedication ceremony at Sunnicrest April 22 to celebrate the exterior renovations to this historic building. Details are coming soon. Sunnicrest is the only remaining house left from George Vanderbilt's Vernon Hill villas built just before 1900. Around the turn of the century, Sunnicrest could be rented for $350 a month, fully furnished except for silver, linen, and blankets.
