A-B Tech’s Fine Arts Department will hold its 2017 Student Art Exhibition from May 5-31 in the Mission Health/A-B Tech Conference Center Gallery. The artists’ reception will be 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 5 with awards presented at 5:30 p.m.
The annual show is an opportunity for A-B Tech’s Associate of Fine Arts in Visual Arts students to showcase their work. The College has offered an Associate of Fine Arts Degree since 2003 and graduates pending a portfolio review are eligible for admission into a BFA program in area universities.
The exhibition will include works in painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, ceramics, and digital art, and will be juried by Ron Laboray from Western Carolina University’s Art Department.
