This training gives students new to Relays, Motor Contactors, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) an interactive, safe, hands-on approach to learn and apply these electrical controls. In this training students are encouraged to have a notebook, a pencil, and two different highlighters. It is recommended to take Fundamentals of Industrial Electricity before taking this training if you are new to electricity.

This training gives students an introduction to Troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) in an interactive, safe, hands-on approach. Basic programming with an emphasis on troubleshooting with a meter will be given. This will be using Allen Bradley SLC 5000 or Siemens TIA Portal. Students should bring a notebook, a pencil, and two different highlighters to class. Prerequisite: Relay/PLC Fundamentals.
