Cosmetology Diploma

The Cosmetology curriculum provides hands-on training in a simulated salon environment, which enables students to develop manipulative skills in hair care, esthetics, and manicuring/nail technology. Students who complete the full diploma should qualify to sit for the State Board of Cosmetic Arts examination. Upon successfully passing the State Board exam, students will be issued a license. Employment is available in beauty salons and related businesses. The Cosmetology Diploma falls under the limited admissions program criteria. In addition to dual enrollment eligibility requirements, students must also meet limited admissions requirements and meet with a Student Advisor during the limited admissions cycle for Fall or Spring. Please see your CCP College Liaison for more information or contact us at ccp@abtech.edu.
