No Limits Radio Show

A-B Tech’s “No Limits” radio show was founded in 2013 in collaboration with WRES 100.7 radio, Asheville’s first African-American public radio station, and the Empowerment Resource Center. The show airs bi-weekly on Wednesdays and is rebroadcast twice a week. It also is videotaped and posted on the college’s Facebook page. Listen live on the MyTuner Radio app.

No Limits is hosted by Duane Adams, the associate director of A-B Tech’s Small Business Center, and Leronica Casey, scholarships coordinator for College Advancement. Both are Asheville natives.

Current No Limits Show: Black History Month and DEIB

No Limits welcomed Dr. Erika Lett and Dean Paulk for the first show of Black History Month. The program’s focus was on the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB). Our guests were excited to share the progress that the office has made in ensuring that A-B Tech continues to be supportive and inclusive of everyone. Erika and Dean also discussed the Counterbalance Grant and how the department can provide the wrap around services necessary to ensure that college success is fully accessible. They also talked about the  Equity Coach Academy and how College Navigators are receiving the training necessary to connect the college with the community regardless of the starting point. Tune in to find out how Erika “grades” her office on the work it has done and why.  Click below to listen and enjoy!

Tune in to No Limits every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 11:00 am on WRES 100.7 FM. The show can also be heard on the My Tuner app or here on the A-B Tech website.
