Welcoming visitors to your farm may be your next agribusiness and bring in supplemental farm income. The Small Business Center at A-B Tech Community College and the Madison County Cooperative Extension are offering a free seven session Agritourism Short Course. Learn about types of agritourism ventures, legal and risk management requirements, and discover available agribusiness resources.
You may attend the course in its entirety or just to specific classes that are most applicable for your interest. However, registration is necessary.

Outdoor Industry Entrepreneurship Certification Program
Description: This new hands-on seminar certificate program focuses on competitive advantage development and is exclusively offered for current and aspiring outdoor industry entrepreneurs, startups, small business owners, and other “outdoor recpreneurs.” The Level 1 certificate curriculum provides attendees with a unique and proven perspective on the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and small business ownership. Key topics including new venture creation, bootstrapping and startup funding, grass-roots marketing, brand development, and management and leadership techniques for success. Attendees seeking to earn the Level 1 certificate must attend all three seminars.
