Registration Dates & Deadlines
When to Register
Fall 2018 registration is now open for all students.
There is no single deadline for registration. A class's registration deadline depends on the class start-date, length, and method of instruction (online, seated, or hybrid).
For classes 14 weeks or longer, students may add the class up to 48 hours after the start of the first class meeting. For fully online classes that are 14 weeks or longer, students may add the class up to 48 hours after the class’s start date (through the third day of class).
For classes shorter than 14 weeks, students may add the class until the class meets for the first time. For fully online classes that are shorter than 14 weeks, students may add the class through the end of the start date for the class.
The first payment deadline for fall 2018 is Friday, August 10 at 12:00 p.m. (noon). For students who register for fall classes between August 11 and August 17, the payment deadline will be Friday, August 17 at 12:00 p.m. (noon). For students who register for fall classes after August 17, payment is due at the time of registration.
It's NOT too late to apply for financial aid! You can view Financial Aid Dates & Deadlines on our website. Students who apply for financial aid late may need to set up a payment plan at abtech.edu/payment for possible reimbursement.
You can confirm whether you have financial aid in place by going to your WebAdvisor/Self-Service account.
Drop and Withdrawal Deadlines
There are multiple deadlines to drop and withdraw from classes for the current semester, depending on the dates of the class. For any questions about these or other important semester dates, contact the Records and Registration Office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
