A-B Tech offers the following resources to help students improve their technical/computer skills prior to taking classes with online components:

 

Basic Computer Courses in Continuing Education

The Continuing Education Division offers a variety of introductory computer courses that are short and offered at either a low cost or for free. Continuing Education courses are not for college credit. View current/upcoming Continuing Education class schedules, including pricing information,. Curriculum (for College Credit) Computer Courses

A-B Tech offers a variety of Curriculum (for college credit) computer courses, which have a CIS or CTS prefix. Curriculum class schedules vary each semester, so review the Self-Service Course Catalog to see which CIS and/or CTS courses are currently being offered. Moodle Tutorials

Most online coursework is conducted in Moodle, A-B Tech's Learning Management System. The Moodle Online Orientation, which students are required to complete prior to registering for online classes, is a great resource for learning how to navigate Moodle. Additional Moodle tutorials.
