Sign up to participate in the upcoming A-B Tech Sponsored Homework Diners. You can register yourself online for any of the following dates but please let Pam Silvers know so she can make sure we have enough volunteers.
Pictured is the recent Homework Diner at Erwin Middle School where A-B Tech had more than 10 volunteers and more than 75 attendees.
- Asheville: March 12 (5 p.m. - 7 p.m., arrive at 4:30 p.m.)
- Owen: March 14 (5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m., arrive at 5:00 p.m.)
- We need 8-10 volunteers for each date. You can volunteer for any of the following tasks:
- 2 for registration, 6 for food, and 2-4 tutors. In addition, you can staff a table highlighting your programs if you want
- It would be appropriate to have the Trailblazer at the events if we want.
- According to their coordinator, the number of students/families that are present varies but they have had as many as 75 people.
If you are an adjunct instructor or part-time employee a small stipend might be available if you assist. Please check with Pamela.
