According to federal and state law, A-B Tech must disclose students’ “directory information” to anyone who requests it. “Directory Information” includes basic information about students, including their name, mailing address, email address, phone number, date of birth, academic program, dates of attendance, and degrees received.
As a student, you have the right to prevent A-B Tech from disclosing your “directory information” without your prior written approval. If you do not want A-B Tech to disclose your “directory information,” you must submit your request in writing to the Records and Registration Office. You may either complete the “Request to Block Release of Directory Information” form in the Bailey Building, or you may simply email your request to registrar@abtech.edu.
