Navy Corpsmen Take Intense EMT Class

Seven active duty Navy Corpsmen from Naval Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, finished an EMT class after 26 straight days of training. EMS ConEd Instructor Bryan Brzycki along with a cadre of adjunct instructors developed the class in only a couple of weeks. This class comes after EMS Instructors Anthony Green (department chair) and Darin Jackson taught at Guantanamo Bay this past fall. The students took classes seven days a week, for eight hours a day to get in the required 200 hours for certification. According to Emergency Services Dean Clint Gorman, the sailors gave rave reviews of the class and all of them passed the final exam.
