Entrepreneurship training now available online through A-B Tech
In order to better serve potential and existing business owners, more than 20 learning modules are now available online and free of charge through the Small Business Center at A-B Tech Community College. The program is the result of a partnership between Hewlett Packard and the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship.
The interactive modules include training on topics such as online selling, finance basics, forecasting sales, setting prices, social media marketing, hiring staff, customer relations and managing inventory. Each unit is designed to give entrepreneurs an introduction or refresher on key aspects of running a business in a short amount of time. Spreadsheets and templates to help business owners manage cash flow and other activities can be downloaded. Upon registering, users will be linked to a global network of entrepreneurs and trainers giving them access to discussion boards, profiles and mentors.
This valuable program is in addition to the existing counseling services and workshops already offered at no cost by the A-B Tech Small Business Center. The online training will be offered continuously throughout the year, and registration is always available.
