A-B Tech's Administrative and Medical Systems Technology (AMST) program is the largest provider of staff for the Southeast region.
EMSI’s workforce profile data shows A-B Tech has 166 alumni working in Southeast region in AMST occupations. These 166 alumni represent 4.09% of regional profiles, which ranks the institution 1st among regional talent providers.
Students are finding employment in their chosen field due to the AMST Dept. networking with key local employers. The employers are coming to the department to recruit for their organization. For example, Express Employment Professionals hired 27 of our graduates in one year. A Robert Half Company offered the AMST Department’s students 36 job opportunities in two semesters in 2018
Also, since adopting Cengage Unlimited publications the AMST department has saved the Office Administration students approximately $1,000 dollars in book costs. The department will continue to redevelop courses and utilize Cengage for publications to extend this benefit to all students in area.
