How to Apply for Summer Camp


Please fill out the application along with $50 Check (Payable to A-B Tech). Applications are accepted on a first come, first served

 basis.  There are only 20 slots available each week, so apply now to secure a spot!

YES Camp Application

Goals of the Camp:
  • to gain understanding of entrepreneurship as a viable career option and learn about resources in their community
  • to generate business ideas to create an atmosphere of fun
  • to meet and learn from successful entrepreneurs
  • to learn to work and cooperate in groups
  • to develop critical thinking and life skills
  • to develop leadership abilities and skills
  • to identify and evaluate entrepreneurial opportunities in Western North Carolina
What students will gain:
  • the opportunity to make new friends
  • the opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship through experiential/hands on learning Boy Scout Entrepreneurship Badge
  • a knowledge of how to apply for a business loan and talk to bankers
  • an understanding of what it takes to start a business
  • an understanding of what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur
  • the opportunity to learn about 3-D printing, and how to create products
  • assistance with earning a Boy Scout or Girl Scout entrepreneurship badge
