Computer Lab Policy
Open Computer Lab
The open computer labs are located in Locke 119 / Balsam 003 / Ferguson 112. This Ferguson 112 lab is open to students unless otherwise reserved by instructors for class meetings.
Printing and scanning is available in Locke Open Computer Lab / Locke Library / Ferguson 112 / Balsam 003 / Bailey 070 / Ferguson Center.
Student Conduct / Behavior
All students are expected to abide by the Code of student Conduct* described in the Student Handbook. The following rules will be observed in the computer lab:
- No Food or Drinks are allowed in the lab. Drinks can be placed on the provided table or left in your bag.
- Academic work is given priority over all other usage of computer lab resources.
- The computer lab resources may not be used for commercial purposes.
- Failure to follow these rules may result in the loss of lab privileges.
Note: All of the statements in the Code of Student Conduct apply and are important. The following statements are presented for your reference:
*5. Disobedience – You may not disobey the reasonable directions of College employees, including administrators, faculty members, security officers, and other staff employees.
*6. Disorderly Conduct – You may not conduct yourself in a way which will interrupt the academic mission of the College or which will disturb the peace of the College.
Open Computer Lab Reservations for Instructors
Reservations for using Ferguson 112 may be made by using r25 or by calling Phyllis Boone, ext. 303. You may check availability by going to http://r25.abtech.edu. Click locations, then click Ferguson on the right, then Ferg 112 and select a date.
