Online Success Interventions
As a part of A-B Tech's Student Online Success program, students who want to take classes 100 percent online must take at least one of the following "interventions":
- CTS 060 ("Essential Computer Usage") or the computer course required for your program (CIS 110, CIS 111, CIS 113, or CTI 110)
- Fast Track to Online Learning
- Moodle Online Orientation
Depending on your scores on the SmarterMeasure assessment, you may encounter all necessary training at one time. For example, both Fast Track to Online Learning and Moodle Online Orientation are included in CTS 060.
Students who do not wish to take online classes do not have to complete any of these interventions, but all students are required to complete the SmarterMeasure assessment.
Students who are required to take CIS 110, CIS 111, CIS 113, or CTI 110 for their program of study may take the appropriate CIS/CTI course instead of CTS 060. For more information about waiving the CTS 060 requirement, visit the SmarterMeasure Waivers and Retest Options webpage.
