Dental OSHA Refresher

Join Dr. Ralph Leonard as he covers the latest on OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standards and CDC requirements.

Dr. Leonard is a clinical associate professor in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences and General Dentistry at the UNC School of Dentistry.  His primary responsibilities are clinical teaching in the comprehensive care program and patient care in the Dental Facility Practice, where he also serves as the practice director.  Dr. Leonard graduated from the UNC School of Dentistry in 1985 and is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Society.  He was in private practice before joining the UNC dental faculty full-time in 1989.  Dr. Leonard is a member of the UNC School of Dentistry's Infection Control Committee.  Dr. Leonard's research interests include patient care, delivery systems and nightguard vital bleaching.  Education:  DDS, Doctor of Dental Surgery, UNC-1985; MA, Public Health, UNC-1978; BS, Biology, Appalachian State University-1975.
