A-B Tech Online - I need help using My Grades in Blackboard.
To check your grades, click Course Tools then My Grades. You will see a list of grades for the assigments that have been graded. If you see an exclamation mark, that means that as assignment has been submitted but it has not yet been graded. If you see a padlock, it means that there was a problem with your submission. Perhaps a quiz went over the time limit, or an assignment was not submitted correctly. Contact your instructor if you see a padlock on your grade.
When a grade appears, you can click the grade to view any comments that your instructor has provided, or to review your original submission.
Remember that your instructor will need some time to complete the grading for an assignment and post your grade. Many instructors will indicate their "turnaround" time to completed grading. If your grade is not posted within a week of turning it in, send a message to your instructor to ensure that your work was received.
At the end of the gradebook, you will see your running total of points achieved so far in the course, and you may also see a percentage which is shown either as a Running Weighted Total or a Weighted Total. If this is a Running Weighted Total then it is showing your grade so far based only on the work you have aleady submitted. If this is a Weighted Total then it is showing your grade so far as a percentage of the entire course.
Most importantly, if you have any question about grades, contact your instructor. He or she is human and can make mistakes, but cannot fix them if you don't let him or her know.
