Content Contributor Responsibility
The accuracy of the information published through the College's web pages is primarily the responsibility of the department content editors for a department's published information. The webmaster's duties pertaining to the content of the website is to provide a framework for which to publish information by the departments or divisions. It is also the webmaster's responsibility to provide training and advertise the training through the College's Professional Development Calendar. The training requires an individual to make the Vice President of their division aware of the content editors role in acting as a change agent for the division's publicly accessible content. The webmaster may step in and edit any information at the request of a department should the content contributor lose competency in authoring tools, the original content contributor has been removed from their role, in an interim period before a new content contributor has been to training, or in an emergency where an individual, with authority and knowledge of content needing revision, dictates a web content change.
