Galyean Named To Coca-Cola Community College National Academic Team

Sixth-grade dropout, mother of five and A-B Tech Community College student Stella Galyean has been named a 2013 Coca-Cola Community College Academic Team Silver Scholar.

Dr. Robert Allen, James Logan Godfrey Distinguished Professor of American Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, will present on his work with the Carolina Digital Humanities Initiative (CDHI) in the presentation “Going to the Show and Winding up in the Digital Humanities” at 2 p.m. April 19 in the Simpson Lecture Room on A-B Tech’s Asheville campus.
