Among the hustle and bustle activities associated with college life at A-B Tech, there are different varieties of shoes gracing the halls that don none of the traditional student footwear of sneakers, sandals and boots. Instead, pads and a little covering of fur cushion these campus visitors.

Scholarship application process closed

The 2013-2014 scholarship application process for Foundation and Enrollment scholarships is now closed. If you missed out on the first round, STARS will re-open June 10 for additional Enrollment scholarship applications and any other Foundation scholarships.

Longtime A-B Tech supporters give $5 million to College

A-B Tech Community College announced the receipt a $5 million gift from longtime college supporters Jack and Carolyn Ferguson Thursday evening during the College’s annual fundraising gala, April in Asheville.

Student physicals available at campus health clinic

April 3, 2013

Student physicals will be available from noon to 2 p.m. April 11, 18, 25 and May 9 in the Student/Employee Health Clinic in Rhododendron 113. Physicals are $30 for students or $20 with a health clinic voucher. Students will need to bring up-to-date immunization records to the appointment. To schedule an appointment or for more information, call 398-7570.

Discounted transit passes available for current students

The Models of Efficiency program recognizes innovative approaches for streamlining higher education operations through technology and/or business process improvements.
