Students participate in Hackathon

A-B Tech students, from left, Jess Austin, Lisa Balogh and Candice Maliska, participated in the Women’s 12-Hour Hackathon April 28 in Balsam as part of the International Women’s Hackathon. The Hackathon is a crowdsourcing event to empower young women leaders in computer science. By providing a fun and safe environment in which to explore computing, the hackathon encourages and supports college women around the world to become producers of future innovations in technology and help solve challenges in the world today.
