Health Conference Coming to Campus

The Minority Student Leadership Academy at A-B Tech is sponsoring a Health Conference from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 6 in Ferguson Auditorium on the College’s Asheville campus. 

Topics include stress management, health issues affecting minorities, managing diabetes and HIV/AIDS.  Health care providers will be on hand to answer questions and display health-related information.

The conference is sponsored in partnership with Asheville Buncombe Institute of Parity Achievement (ABIPA) and the North Carolina Institute of Minority Economic Development.  Speakers will include Elaine Robinson, Executive Director of ABIPA, and Al Richmond, Director of Healthy Workplace Initiatives, North Carolina Institute of Minority Economic Development.
