Science Friday at A-B Tech explores the Titanic

A-B Tech Community College will feature Tales of the Titanic during its Science Friday program from noon to 12:50 p.m. Friday, September 19 in Ferguson Auditorium. The program is free and open to the public.

Nature's Notebook Exhibit at Holly Library Gallery

September 12, 2014

The botanical artwork of the A-B Tech Continuing Education students of Peter Loewer, the "Wild Gardener," will be on display in the Holly Library Gallery until October 11. An artists' reception will be from noon to 1 p.m. September 22 in the Holly Lobby.

 

Spa services available

Need a haircut? Facial? Or a massage to relieve some school stress? The A-B Tech Spa offers low-cost services to students. Please see the attached schedule for dates and times of when Spa services will be available during Fall Semester.

Health Clinic open this week

September 10, 2014

All students and employees can join us at the On-campus health clinic this Thursday, September 11 from noon to 2 p.m. in room 113 of the Rhododendron Building. Clinics are held the first three Thursdays of each month.

Get your own copy of the U.S. Constitution on September 17

U.S. Constitution Day is Wednesday, September 17. Drop by our informational booth in the Coman Student Center Lounge between 9 a.m. and noon to learn some little known facts about the U.S. Constitution and pick up a free pocket copy.

The A-B Tech Veterinary Medical Technology Program is in urgent need of blankets and bath size towels for the pets we care for in our program.

Blankets can be any size (throws, twin, full, etc.) and any condition (but preferably clean)

Towels (bath size) are also needed in any condition but clean.

Buy and sell used textbooks

A-B Tech students can buy and sell used textbooks through the campus Bookstore in the Bailey Building. You may post your books for sale on the bulletin board provided you add a date the your listing. If you are looking for used textbooks and can't find them on the bulletin board or in the store, half.com is a great option to find your materials.
