Reminder: Parking tickets start next week

A-B Tech Police and Security are currently issuing warnings for parking violations but will start handing out tickets next week. One particular location is the parking lot next to the Simpson Building, which is for staff and visitors only.

Minority Student Leadership Academy Orientation

The Minority Student Leadership Academy (MSLA) will be kicking off the year with an orientation on Thursday, September 4 from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.

Gasland Showing

A-B Tech Student Life and Development and the campus sustainability group - Asheville Green Power will present a free showing of the film "Gasland" at 6 p.m. Thursday, September 4 in Ferguson Auditorium on the Asheville campus. There will be a Q & A discussion panel following the showing. The program is free and open to the public.

Fall Festival

This Thursday, August 28 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. we will hold our annual Fall Festival in the common area behind the Coman Student Center.  This will be a lively event for all current Curriculum students with music, food*, chair massage, free giveaways as well as an opportunity to get connected with college resources, student clubs, semester activities, and more.

Entrepreneurship training now available online through A-B Tech

In order to better serve potential and existing business owners, more than 20 learning modules are now available online and free of charge through the Small Business Center at A-B Tech Community College.  The program is the result of a partnership between Hewlett Packard and the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship.
