Happenings

March is Women's History Month and Holly Library is sponsoring a series of events that empower and inspire starting at noon on Monday, March 10. The first program, titled "What No Bathrooms?" is an informal panel on Muriel Siebert becoming the first woman to hold a seat on the NYSE where there were no women's restrooms and other tales from the trenches. At noon on Wednesday, March 12, "Pioneering Women in Technology" will be led by Cindy Ireland who will discuss women in technology and what inspired them.

On Tuesday, March 11 and Thursday, March 13, there will be a live triva contest with prizes going to the winners. Sessions will be at 11:30 a.m. to noon and questions repeated from 12:30  to 1 p.m. both days. All activies and programs will be held in Holly 121/122. Light refreshments will be served and these activities are supported by a grant from the National Science Foundation. All events are free and open to the public.
