Homeschool Outreach Presentation on Dec. 18
December 12, 2012
A-B Tech will host a Homeschool Outreach Presentation at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, that will focus on curriculum, admissions, financial aid, and scholarships. The event will be held in the Simpson Building’s Lecture Hall, which is located on A-B Tech’s main Asheville campus. A main focus of the presentation will be the North Carolina Career and College Promise Program (CCP).
CCP is the dual-enrollment program that allows eligible high school juniors and seniors to take tuition-free college courses at A-B Tech. Many of these courses transfer to most public and private four-year universities in North Carolina. Families can save significant money by taking advantage of tuition-free CCP courses, and students can reduce time to degree completion by participating in the program.
In addition to CCP, information will be available for students who may have an interest in attending A-B Tech – as a traditional student – upon high school graduation. A-B Tech is a great value for students who seek a rigorous, transferable course of study that costs much less than the first two years at a four-year college or university. In addition, A-B Tech has dozens of degree and diploma options for students who want to pursue a career-oriented credential that will prepare them for employment.
