A-B Tech composer’s piece to be performed in Dresden

A-B Tech Music Instructor Dr. Rene Carlos Ochoa’s composition Dresden will receive its European premiere next year in Dresden, Germany. The piece for choir and chamber orchestra was inspired when Ochoa was in the city in 2011 where another one of his compositions was being performed. 

Czarnomski creates trail guides

Apply Now for Paid Summer 2015 State Government Internships

North Carolina residents attending a college, university, technical institute or community college have until December 19 to apply for one of up to 70 paid state government internships available for summer 2015. All internships will begin on May 26, 2015, and conclude on July 31, 2015.

A-B Tech receives funding to assist student parents

A-B Tech Community College received continued funding from the N.C. Community College System for childcare services, which provides subsidy assistance for parents who are students at A-B Tech. The award for the 2014-15 academic year is $42,161.
