A-B Tech’s Small Business Center and Entrepreneurial Institute is accepting applications for its weeklong summer day camp for rising middle school students and high school sophomores, juniors and seniors interested in business ownership.
The Young Entrepreneurial Scholars (YES!) Camp for high school students is a North Carolina Rural Entrepreneurship through Action Learning (NC REAL) Youth Entrepreneurship camp that will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from July 9-13.
The Middle School YES! Academy for sixth- to eighth-grade students will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 23-27. Both camps are held at the College’s Enka site and registration is $25 for each camp.
Students will learn how to apply for a business loan and about resources in their community. They will also gain an understanding of entrepreneurship as a viable career option and meet and learn from successful entrepreneurs.
