Student Art Show at The Artery through May 26
May 7, 2012
A-B Tech’s Fine Arts Department will hold its eighth annual juried Student Spring Art Show until May 26 at the Asheville Area Arts Council’s gallery, The Artery, at 346 Depot Street in the River Arts District.
The annual show is an opportunity for A-B Tech’s Fine Arts students to showcase their work. The College has offered an Associate of Fine Arts Degree since 2003 and pending a portfolio review, graduates are eligible for admission into a BFA program in area universities.
The exhibition will include works in painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, ceramics, and digital art, and will be juried by Western Carolina University Professor of Art Matt Liddle. Regular gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
