New Allied Health and Workforce Development Building Groundbreaking Oct. 18
October 1, 2012
Padgett & Freeman Architects created the drawing of the new Allied Health and Workforce Development Building, which will have its groundbreaking Oct. 18.
A-B Tech faculty, staff and students are invited to join Dr. Dunn and the Board of Trustees for a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Allied Health and Workforce Development Building at noon Oct. 18 in the Pines Building parking lot on the Asheville campus.
Because of limited parking, participants should either walk to the Pines Building or ride the minibus to the groundbreaking. The bus will start rounds at 11:15 a.m. from the Bailey Building parking lot (B-2).
Designed by Padgett & Freeman Architects, the building will house the College’s expanding Allied Health programs and Workforce Development. A-B Tech’s Child Care Center will also be housed in the building, which is expected to be complete in 2015.
