Hill named Asheville Living Treasure

Sara Hill, Continuing Education quilting instructor, was one of three recipients honored May 13 by Asheville Living Treasures at their spring ceremony at First Congregational United Church of Christ. One of Hill’s previous A-B Tech students was the first to nominate her for this honor and she received six letters of nominations. Brinda Caldwell, Director of Community Enrichment Programs, spoke at the event on Hill’s contributions to A-B Tech and what that has meant to the community. Hill was the first recipient of A-B Tech’s Continuing Education Instructor of the Year Award in 2006. (pictured)
