A-B Tech students featured during NCCIA conference

A-B Tech hosted the North Carolina Computer Instruction Association conference March 28-30 on the Asheville Campus and the Crowne Plaza resort with a record number of 293 participants.

According to Instructor Marlene Roden, a current A-B Tech student was the DJ during the Thursday night entertainment. For catering of Friday lunch, a current A-B Tech student was the caterer.

 “We had A-B Tech students as volunteers at the Crowne Plaza as well as at A-B Tech. A-B Tech students also did a presentation for attendees on Friday with standing room only,” Roden said.

A-B Tech students receiving scholarships were Naiyah Edwards, Cengage Learning Scholarship; Roth Wilson, Murach Scholarship; Daniel Leach, NCCIA Leadership Team Scholarship and Matthew Leopin, Pearson Scholarship..
