May 1, 2012

Students at Buncombe County Early College took a Stand Against Racism Friday at A-B Tech. Students organized a diversity potluck lunch where students, faculty and staff were invited to prepare and share dishes that reflect their heritage.
They also created a talent show featuring student performers and members of the A-B Tech Choir. The show highlighted a wide range of talents from music to poetry – all reflecting their Stand, embracing diversity and celebrating differences.
