Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour Coming To A-B Tech
April 28, 2009
A-B Tech will host the Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour, a free collegiate entrepreneur tour designed to inspire students to start their own business, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May 4 in Ferguson Auditorium.
The Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour is presented by VenturePort.org and sponsored by Inc. Magazine. Founded by award-winning 25-year-olds Michael Simmons and Sheena Lindahl of Extreme Entrepreneurship Education, the tour is comprised of young entrepreneurs who've made, earned, or sold a company for millions and/or made a huge impact before the age of 30.
The event will provide inspiration and practical advice for emerging entrepreneurs and students of all disciplines.
Lindahl and Simmons are authors of "The Student Success Manifesto" and "All or Nothing, Now or Never." As 2005 graduates of New York University, Lindahl and Simmons were named by Business Week as one of the country's top 25 entrepreneurs under 25.
The program is sponsored by A-B Tech's Business Administration Department, Minority Male Leadership Academy, Student Business Incubator Program and the Asheville-Buncombe-Madison Career Pathways partnership.
