A-B Tech Small Business Center Director Russ Yelton was elected chair of the Mountain South Incubator Alliance during its meeting Dec. 13.

The alliance was formed to assist companies in selling their products and services on a regional basis, as well as share best practices for incubator managers. The group was originally four organizations from two states and now has 19 members from five states.

The Small Business Center also was named Referral Partner of the Year through an award from Mountain Microenterprise Fund for referrals and support of the MMF program.
