Erwin Career Academy Visits A-B Tech

Erwin High School student Justin Radcliff uses a stethoscope to check the vitals of a baby mannequin as A-B Tech nursing instructor Jane Headland assists. Justin and his classmates from the Erwin Career Academy visited A-B Tech April 1 to tour the campus. The students spent time learning about the culinary, applied technology, spa therapies, and allied health areas of the college. The students are participating in "The Biltmore Experience," a partnership between A-B Tech, Buncombe County Schools, and The Biltmore Estate. The program exposes students to career and internship opportunities at Biltmore in the areas of retail/marketing and culinary/hospitality management.
