Schober Brings Biotechnology to Middle School Students

Sarah Schober teaching science to  Terrence Lynch

Sarah Schober, Natural Products Lab manager, works with Terrence Lynch in an Asheville Middle School eighth-grade science class. Schober visited the class to teach labs on equipment and safety in the lab, strawberry DNA extraction and on the physical and chemical changes of matter. Schober visits the class an average of two times a month, presenting material to supplement the standard course of study. Also pictured are students Briana Bunn, Davis Adamson, Erica Biggert and Joe Boudreau.
