Invitational Education Committee Offers Two Programs in March

GIS Instructor Pete Kennedy is offering a Faculty Development program as part of Rock Doddridge's 100 Monkeys Initiative, which is designed to help faculty share new and successful ideas and teaching practices. Orignially scheduled March 2, Enhancing the Classroom and Student Learning with Blogs was postponed because of the weather and will be rescheduled. Participants will create a blog at this hands-on workshop. Visit Kennedy's blog for more information. Watch for the new date.

Darryl Rhymes, drawing on his experience in Human Resources, will present Interview Style, a program designed to guide job-seekers through the process of finding a job at A-B Tech. The course will offer tips and techniques to lead participants from the application process through interview day. The program is targeted to A-B Tech employees seeking to polish their interview skills as well as students seeking their first professional job. Don't miss the Interview Style Do's & Dont's Fashion Show, featuring A-B Tech faculty and staff. The program will be from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. March 23 and again from 6 to 7:15 p.m. March 24 in Holly 122.
