Welcome, New Employees

The College welcomes four full-time employees who have accepted staff and faculty positions over the past month.

Scott Adams, Culinary Arts and Hospitality Instructor, earned his associates degree from Johnson & Wales University in Vail, CO., his bachelors degree from Appalachian State University, and is working on his master's degree at Montreat College. He is the owner/executive chef at Blackwater Grille in Hendersonville and executive chef at Highland Blends in Hendersonville. He has also been an adjunct culinary instructor at A-B Tech.

E. Todd Creasman, Welding Technologies Instructor, earned his associates degree from A-B Tech. He has been an adjunct Welding Technologies Instructor for the College for 12 years. He was a welder and metalworker for Karpen Steel Products in Weaverville.

Doug Jones, Continuous Improvement Regional Trainer, earned his bachelor's degree from Iowa State in Ames and the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He earned his master's degree from the University of South California in Los Angeles. He was a senior consultant and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Lean Six Sigma Practice, for the George Group in Dallas for two years and was the Director of the Productivity Institute and Coordinator of Customized Training and Quality Initiatives for A-B Tech for nine years.

Jennifer Lane, Student Success Advocate, earned her bachelor's degree from SUNY-Oneonta, Oneonta, N.Y. She has been a secretary with the Career Development Services and Disability Services at A-B Tech and a Software Trainer and Customer Service representative for BorgWarner Turbo Systems. She worked as the Relocation Director for Coldwell Banker Kasey & Associates in Asheville.
