Rock Doddridge reports on the 100 Monkeys Initiative: Invitational Education Committee is always excited to offer high-interest, cutting edge programs for teacher enrichment. We normally offer two, sometimes three, elective sessions each Fall and each Spring. The following colleagues have expertise that lend themselves to just such eagerly sought for training events for our faculty during 2009-2010.
Pete Kennedy will be featured with "Enhancing the Classroom and Student Learning with Blogs," Wednesday, November 11, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., Balsam 104. Pete is wonderful to always equip us with new skills through his active-learning, hands-on approach. This workshop can be subtitled "105th Monkey."
Pat Horlick will enlighten us regarding Educational Support available to A-B Tech faculty through Instructional Services. We cannot take advantage of resources that we do not know about. The workshop, entitled "A Conversation about Instructional Support," is already scheduled through OPD for Thursday, November 19, 3:15 to 4:40 p.m. in Holly 122. This can be subtitled "106th Monkey."
