Clark Receives Chancellor's Award

A-B Tech student Franceen Clark has received the Chancellor's Award from Western Carolina University for transfer students. The two-year, merit-based scholarship for transfer students funds the cost of in-state tuition and fees.

Daugherty to Serve on Energy Council

Vernon Daugherty, Engineering and Applied Technology dean, will serve on the newly created Community Energy Advisory Council for Progress Energy.

Davis Featured

Sherri Davis, who was recently hired as the secretary of the Madison Site, was featured in the News-Record and Sentinel for graduating from A-B Tech with her degree in Office Sytstems Technology. She was a member of Who's Who Among American Junior College Students, Phi Theta Kappa and Phi Beta Lambda.

Graduates Recognized by Mission Hospitals

Mission employees and their relatives who graduated from A-B Tech were honored in the hospitals' newsletter Scope in the June 1 issue. Graduates mentioned were Jamile Al-Khatib, Faith C.
