  3. What if my e-mail address has changed?

    If any of your contact information has changed - including e-mail address, mailing address or phone number, please complete a Continuing Education WebAdvisor Account Request. It may take up to 48 hours to update your information.

  5. How long does it take to setup a new student online account?

    If you are a new Continuing Education student it will take no more than 48 business hours to create an account. To set up your account, click here. If you have submitted a Continuing Education WebAdvisor Account Request but have yet to receive notification that you account is active, please call our Continuing Education Office at 254-1921 Ext. 5802, 5803 or 859

  6. What information is required to set up an account?

    The information needed to set up an online account includes your name, date of birth, contact information (address including county of residence and telephone number), and an e-mail address to be able to communicate.

  7. Can I register a second person using my User ID and password?

    No, just as you are two different students you will need to have two different accounts.

  8. Do I still have to register if the class is free?

    Yes, if the class description states that participants must register. Having students pre-register for a free class helps the class coordinator determine seating capacity and facility usage. In addition, there may be a minimum number of participants required and having students pre-register for the class provides the instructor with this information.

  9. What if my employer is paying for my class?

    It is preferred that you or your employer faxes a registration form. Please call our Continuing Education Office at 398-7903 or email for further information.

  10. Why is my e-mail account showing as myname@students.abtech.edu?

    If you are a current curriculum student you will need to maintain an A-B Tech e-mail address as your main e-mail contact. You will be able to select an alternate e-mail address to send payment receipts to if you prefer. For information on how to access your A-B Tech email, click here.

  11. What if I am a minor (16 or 17 years old) interested in Continuing Education classes?

    Continuing Education course offerings are designed for adult learners. In special cases, 16 and 17 year-olds will be considered when they obtain the required permissions and signatures on the College’s Minor Permission Form before attending class. Students under the age of 16 are not permitted to attend class. Please contact our Continuing Education Registration Office at 398-7903 for further details.

  12. Why do some of the fields on the Continuing Education WebAdvisor Account Request appear in yellow even though they are not required?

    Yellow fields appear in Internet Explorer 7.0 when you have entered similar information on another website. It is a prompt to make the website easier to complete - the information is however not required.

  14. I use Mozilla (Firefox) or Safari, why am I having problems registering?

    WebAdvisor is currently approved for use with Internet Explorer. Although you may use Mozilla (Firefox) or Safari we are unable to resolve technical difficulties at this point. Please contact the software provider.

  15. What if I prefer not to use my social security number to retrieve my user id?

    Your A-B Tech student ID is printed under your name in the top left corner of any Continuing Education class receipt. If you cannot locate a receipt, please contact our Continuing Education Registration Office to receive your Web Advisor Student ID #.
