April in Asheville
April in Asheville, the A-B Tech Foundation’s annual fundraising gala, will be held from 6:30 to 9:00pm on April 4, 2013 at the Brumit Center for Culinary Arts and Hospitality on the College’s Asheville campus. The event highlights the skills of our award-winning A-B Tech Culinary Arts and Hospitality Department through a variety of interactive food stations located throughout the Culinary Arts and Hospitality’s facility. Music from local musicians as well as a silent auction will round out the evening’s festivities.
This year, our Culinary and Hospitality students will be creatively highlighting food from the past 50 years as part of our celebration of the 50th anniversary of the North Carolina Community College System and the many milestones of A-B Tech.
Proceeds from this event will support the success of the College’s students through the work of the Foundation and the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Department. Tickets are $150 per person for the gala and the pre-event President's Reception, $125 per person for general public, and $100 per person for students, College employees, alumni and College retirees.
