List of A-B Tech Enrollment Scholarships

  • Do you have a high school or college GPA of 2.5 or above?
  • Have you recently received your GED?
  • Are you enrolled in six or more credit hours at A-B Tech?
  • Have you declared your program of study?
  • Have you completed your FAFSA?

You might qualify for one of A-B Tech’s 2014-2015 Enrollment Scholarships.

Students will be awarded one scholarship. Maximum award amount for the academic year up to $1,200.  Award amount will vary by term, depending on enrollment status (full- or part-time).

First-Year Student Awards
  • Received GED® with a score of 600 or above within the past 12 months
Second-Year Student Awards
  • Current member of a Student Government-sanctioned club
  • Provide letter from club advisor certifying active club participation
First-Year Student Awards
  • Recently terminated or laid off due to plant closure or significant workforce reduction within the past 12 months
  • Must provide documentation of layoff or receipt of unemployment benefits when submitting application

  • High school transcript indicating class rank in the top 30% of class
  • Maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA
  • Be enrolled full-time (12+ hours ) each semester
  • Have a 100% completion rate in all classes

  • Preference given to students with active community service participation

  • Be enrolled full-time (12 + hours) each semester
Second-Year Student Awards
  • A-B Tech cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher indicated on transcripts
First-Year Student Awards
  • Identify as African-American, Asian, Pacific Islander, Native American, Hispanic or Eastern European
First-Year Student Awards
  • Enrolled in a curriculum program considered non-traditional for your gender.
First-Year Student Awards
  • Students who are paying out-of-state tuition
