Nursing Assistant

To be eligible for admission to the Fall 2010 Associate Degree Nursing and Practical Nursing programs, applicants will be required to hold a documented current credential as a Nurse Aide I from the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation and provide a Certificate of Completion from a state approved Nurse Aide training program or a transcript showing satisfactory completion of a state approved Nurse Aide training program by January 29, 2010. Classes fill up very quickly. Class size is limited to 20 students. Madison Campus class size is limited to 10 students. All of our day and evening classes are full thru the end of March 2010. Day classes (8:30-3pm) that will be beginning in April or later this year and May evening classes (class times may vary typically 5-8pm; depending on class choice) will register Monday, March 15th on our Enka Campus in the Haynes building Conference Room beginning at 8:30am. Students registering on March 15th will have a choice of the Asheville or Enka Campuses or The Goodwill Location on Patton Ave. All registration is done on a first come basis and must be done in person.
