It also aims at creating firmer comprehension as preparation to further advanced learning. More kanji, Chinese characters, will be introduced. Sign Language, Beginning II

Learn to communicate with the deaf. In this follow-up to Sign Language, Beginning I, you will continue to develop basic ASL skills. Spanish, Basic Oral Skills

The focus of each class is survival communication in real-life situations such as hotels, airports, restaurants, markets, public transportation, etc. Guided dialogues will help improve your speaking in these situations. You will increase your vocabulary specific to these situations and improve your pronunciation, but no new grammar is taught. This course is for beginners who have completed Spanish Level I and II and have some understanding of the Spanish language. No textbook will be used. (20 hrs)
