Motorcycle Safety Education Program

This 20-hour course is part of the NC Motorcycle Safety Program. In this class, riders will learn the basics of operating a motorcycle. The course is held on Friday evenings, all day Saturday and Sunday, One hundred percent attendance of all scheduled class hours is mandatory. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Required gear for all participants: long pants, long-sleeve shirts, boots over the ankle, full-fingered gloves, eye protection (sunglasses or prescription eyewear is permissible), and a DOT approved helmet. Motorcycles will be provided. (20 hrs) No fee exemption
Classes will meet Friday 6:00 PM-10:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and Sunday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Due to the high demand of this class, there will be no refunds or transfers made within 10 working days of class beginning.

The cost of the class is $179 which includes a comprehensive insurance fee of $4. Class registration is limited to 12 students. Early registration is required, due to limited space. There are no fee exemptions for this class and no refunds will be issued if unable to attend.
The class will meet at the Buncombe County Schools Transportation Department Facility on Washington Avenue in Woodfin. Register at abtech.edu/ce/registration.
